MY INTERVIEW WITH NIKKI LEIGH
Q1. What did you want to be growing up?
That’s so hard, I had so many aspirations growing up. They ranged from wanting to be a psychiatrist, an actress, a teacher, and a singer. I always had a knack for performing. When I was younger I would dance around my house like I had the moves of Britney Spears and a voice like Celine Dion. Then there was this other side of me who wanted to work with people in some way.
Q2. Who is Nikki Leigh and what’s something you wish people knew about you, but probably don’t?
I don’t necessarily know how to answer that question. It’s hard to explain yourself. I hope people would see me as a normal girl, whose hardworking, a genuine friend, honest, and loyal. A huge thing people are always surprised to hear is how I am a huge book worm and I LOVE education. It’s something that I’m passionate about. Also, I’m also just a normal woman with normal issues in life like everyone else.
Q3. Tell me a little bit about filming Lifetime’s Open Marriage?
Filming Open Marriage was fast. We had 14 days of shooting. Which can be difficult because you get only a few takes, which meant every day (although I try to do this anyways) you had to be on at all times! It was fun though, we filmed right here in Malibu, CA so it was a beautiful backdrop to a very dramatic film.
Q4. Any future collaborations you want to share with us for 2017?
I have a new TV series coming out called A Girl Is a Gun (also starring Denise Richards) coming out May 2017 on BlackPills. This series was a huge challenge for me physically, mentally, and emotionally. It’s about a group of women vigilantes who team up against the corrupt men in the town. It’s a great story of women coming together, helping each other, and kicking butt while doing so.
