MY INTERVIEW WITH VENESSA KAUFMAN

Q1.  What did you want to be growing up?

I changed my mind constantly. I remember wanting to be a rockstar, lawyer, and fashion designer.

Q2.  If you could choose one women that you look up too, who would it be? 

I look up to my mom. She’s strong, thoughtful and I feel like she has an old soul and looks at life from a different perspective.

Q3.  What is We the Classy?

“We The Classy” is a fashion blog by me, but more importantly it’s a brand that represents quite a broader group of people who believe it’s classy to be authentically themselves. That’s what I try to communicate through the blog and on social media.

Q4. You have impeccable taste and style, when did you discover your love for fashion?

I’ve had a love for fashion since a young age. I believe it became more obvious when I was in high school. I designed my own line of clothing, sewed them, and produced a fashion show for my entire high school two years in a row.  

Q5.  What is one words that best describe you?
Creative

Q6.  Who is your favorite designer?

That’s a difficult question! I don’t have just one. There’s too many beautiful talents in this world to be able to pick one.

Q7.  What do you love about being a digital influencer?

• I love how it connects people from across the world in a timeless fashion.
• I love how it can make dreams come true for people who may not have a platform or the resources.
• I love how fast it moves.

Q8.  What is your philosophy in life?

I have a lot of life philosophies.  More recently I’ve developed the philosophy to view what I thought was weakness as a strength. Maybe our weaknesses are put there to teach us how strong we really are. This thought has been giving me comfort and a different perspective as I try to build my business and navigate through life.

Q9.  What is one of your most treasured accomplishments? 

Being a mom🌻

Q10.  You are a woman of many trades, what motivates you to keep pressing on?

I dislike being idle. Even when I try to slow down, I find myself thinking of new things to do. I’m motivated simply by my desire to succeed in the projects and adventures I start.

Q11.  Please share with our tribe of Women, one piece of advice you have received which has helped you throughout your journey?

Do not compare yourself to others and it’s ok to be vulnerable. Everyone’s journey is extremely different even when, from the outside, others seem comparable. The only way you can let your journey be different is if you allow yourself to be yourself.  Being yourself makes you vulnerable, you have to be willing to be vulnerable.

Q12.  When you are not busy, what do you do to relax?

I find I’m most relaxed with my glass of wine at the end of the day, or reading to my kids.
