I had the chance to interview and have the funnest (not a word but it works in my blog) conversation ever with Best-selling author, journalist, international fashion and lifestyle blogger/influencer with more than a million followers on Social Media, brand ambassador, actress, television and radio personality, entrepreneur, philanthropist, Women Empowerment and “The Wishmaker” are just a few of the many accomplishments of The Simonetta Lein.

My Interview with Simonetta Lein – International Fashion Influencer and “Wishmaker”

Q1. What did you want to be growing up?

I always wanted to be someone that could change and impact the world.

I was born and raised in a very small village in northern Italy.  I grew up with 2 pioneers, My father is a successful homeopathic doctor, who started his practice years before natural remedies became an accepted alternative to western medicine in Italy.   He always told me, “Walk slowly but steady.”

My mother is a psychotherapist, who also established a leading cultural center in our village, 20 plus years ago.  I remember, as a child, my mother would say, “If you believe, you can impact a lot of people!”

Q2.  Five words that best describe you?

  • Creative
  • Determined
  • Classy
  • Inspiring
  • Caring

Q3.  How did you get started in the fashion world?

At age 16, I started as a model to learn the catwalk, that progressed in me obtaining my Fine Arts Degree, that lead me to modeling and collaborated with some of the world’s top photographers, including Giovanni Gastel and Bruno Oliviero.

Q4. You have such an enormous list of accomplishments, such as best-selling author, television and radio personality, journalist, international fashion and lifestyle blogger and influencer, brand ambassador, entrepreneur, and philanthropist to name a few. But what is one of you most treasured accomplishments?

My most treasured accomplishment is the establishment of my charitable organization, The Wishwall Foundation. The foundation is a space allowing people from across the world to post their deepest wish or desire on my website “Wish Wall.” Then I become “The Wishmaker,” along with my global network and take those wishes and make incredible dreams come true. That is where my heart is.

Q5. Is there one piece of advice you have received that has stuck with you?

O yes, that would be: “Do not let anyone ever tell you that you are not good enough or make you feel like you are not doing enough”.

Q6. What motivates you?

My husband motivates me to the fullest!  He is there for me, he is my friend, my partner and backs me every step of the way. In addition, my family motivates me.

Q7. Let’s talk personal style. What are your favorite pieces in your wardrobe right now?

My Beautiful Red Kimono Dress from my Heart2Heart Capsule Collection.  CHECK OUT THE ENTIRE LINE HERE   The best part is the Heart2Heart campaign allows me to curate a capsule collection from the Shahida Parides Line, in an exclusive Heart2Heart print, and the brand donates 30% of all sales of those select items, from the Shahida Parides website, to the my The Wishwall Foundation.

Q8. How has social media played a part in making your message successful?

It has absolutely played a part 100%

I am a Millennial and I love to uplift and recognize fellow Millennials out there who are doing amazing things and striving every day for change. Change for Millennials is an active concept, it means making an impact, seeing dreams coming true, fighting for the chance of winning. And it’s something we do with the highest of ideals. We are proud to be dreamers. There are those who think we live with our heads up in the clouds, while the truth is that many Millennials scattered across the globe are proving that our generation is steadily and surely making a difference.

My motto is: Your Tribe is Your Vibe!

Q9. What advice to you have for other fashionistas looking to start their own journey?

  • Ask yourself, What is your own Message
  • Find your own Message
  • Study your own Message
  • Be Consistent and Persistent

Anna
